11th World Youth Team Events @ Bangkok 2 Events = Juniors and School students It gives great pleasure in seeing school students and youths being encouraged . We are informed that not only National bodies of bridge, govt assistance and sponsorship by industrialists, senior rich bridge players have also contributed money to this noble cause.
It is sad that such actions by rich elder bridge players of some other countries are very few and finger countable.
Parents of brilliant youngsters cannot afford to spend money on Bridge. How then youths could be attracted to bridge game? Rich players may adopt 1 or 2 students with Bridge acumen and offer them free education, sponsorship for bridge events . We are eager to know whether this adoption has already been made in some country or other.

Carry over score helped USA I . Kudos to Singapore youth for their excellant performance - It abodes well for SCBA future. Playing against local Top players (We hope they do participate
- in some countries they often stay away) in even weekly pair event will go a long way to bring out the best of Juniors.
